We find prices, we don't appraise
Card prices swing, and every price source disagrees with the others. cardstock finds what's out there and shows it with where it came from, so you can judge it. A value here is an estimate, marked with a ~, never an appraisal, an offer or a guarantee. Nothing on cardstock is financial or investment advice.
Where the numbers come from
- Your exports. A value from CollX or Card Ladder is that app's value, from the export you gave us, and says so. It counts as one source.
- Prices found on the web. Kumori searches the web for each card; every price is shown beside its link and its source's name, judged against the card (grade, number, year, parallel), with anything that doesn't fit listed apart with the reason. Sources include PriceCharting and SportsCardsPro (named beside each price, as PriceCharting's terms ask) and, for Magic cards, Scryfall's TCGplayer market price.
- Card Ladder's prices are never used from the web: its terms prohibit systematic use of its data (read October 10, 2026). Your own Card Ladder export is yours, and reads as Card Ladder's value.
- On-chain records. Graded, vaulted slabs and their sales come from public Solana records and Arweave, and live asks from Magic Eden's public listings. Insured values are the platform's own figures: a reference, not a price.
- eBay. cardstock links you to eBay searches for a card, including its sold listings; we never fetch eBay ourselves.
- Card stories. Headlines and links from Cardlines, PokeBeach, card subreddits and Kumori's card-news feed. The story stays on its site.
Your content
You keep what you add. You give us permission to store and process it to run cardstock for you, as the privacy page describes. Add only cards, photos and exports you have the right to share.
Fair use of the site
Don't scrape cardstock, overload it, or use it to break someone else's terms. We may limit or end access that harms the site or other collectors.
No warranty
cardstock is free and provided as is. It can be wrong, incomplete or unavailable, and we're not liable for decisions made from it, including buying or selling a card. Third-party sites we link to are their own.
